The ApicoWplexa 2026 conference will take place from September 16 to 18, 2026, at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, University of Milan, located in the historic and welcoming city of Lodi, in the heart of Lombardy, Italy.

The university facility, designed by the renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, fully embodies his architectural philosophy focused on respecting nature, the environment, and human wellbeing. Through the predominant use of natural and sustainable materials, Kuma has created a harmonious and inspiring space, ideal for fostering intensive scientific exchanges in a welcoming atmosphere.

How to reach us:

By Air:

  • Milan Linate Airport: approximately 35 km (about 35 minutes by car; 1 hour by train).
  • Milan Malpensa Airport: approximately 90 km (about 1 hour and 10 minutes by car; 1 hour 45 minutes by train).
  • Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport: approximately 75 km (about 50 minutes by car).

By Train: Lodi train station is well-connected to Milan and other major Italian cities. From Lodi station, the conference venue can be easily reached in about 10 minutes by taxi or city bus, or approximately a 30-minute walk.

By Car: Lodi is conveniently accessible via the A1 highway (Lodi exit), ensuring fast connections with Milan and other key cities in Lombardy.
